In power management applications, the gate driver transfers power input from a controller IC to a transistor gate such as a MOSFET. ROHM has developed on-chip transformer processes for compact isolated gate drivers using proprietary microfabrication technology. A broad lineup of isolated gate drivers is available for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

Selecting Gate Driver is a key to enable power devices work efficiently and safely.
Rohm offers a wide range of evaluation boards to accelerate evaluation with power device on customer products.
The evaluation boards are very compact, customer can replace the existing gate driver on customer products for evaluation.
The single channel Gate Driver offers two evaluation boards, 1ch type and 2ch type which is suitable for half-bridge topology.
Additionally, Rohm offers the SPICE models for the gate driver.

Rohm offers easy replacement of the gate driver ICs from customer application board.
It is tough work for replacement of the gate driver ICs which are various packages or pin assignments.
The external terminal positions of Rohm Gate Driver evaluation boards were comfortable with any customer application boards.
According to gate resistors, customer can replace easily on Rohm gate driver evaluation board.
The compact board size is also useful for multi-channel application board.
