What will happen after 1,000,000 writes? Will the data become garbled, preventing further writing?
In an EEPROM, after 1,000,000 writes the charge accumulation at the floating gate of the memory cell becomes difficult, making write operations impossible. Cells that cannot hold a charge will be set at 'L'.
