LED-based Manufacturing Classes for High School Students

ROHM Mechatech Philippines, Inc. (REPI) has conducted manufacturing classes using LEDs for local national high school students. Through these activities, REPI aims to promote interest in manufacturing and to nurture the next generation of science professionals.

Environmental Education Classes for High School Students

REPI gave lectures to local high school students to raise their awareness of waste management, shared REPI's efforts in waste management, and donated trash cans and cleaning tools to the schools. REPI will continue to provide environmental education to the next generation by providing them with the opportunity to learn about resource utilization and the environment by learning about waste separation and the 3Rs (reuse, reduce, recycle).

Planting 500 Saplings in a Nature Reserve

REPI, in collaboration with ROHM LSI Design Philippines (RLDP), planted 500 saplings in the La Mesa Nature Reserve, located in Metro Manila, Philippines. This reserve is a vital area that protects the only major watershed in the region and serves as a crucial source of drinking water for millions of residents.
This tree-planting initiative goes beyond environmental beautification—it plays a multifaceted role in forest regeneration, ecosystem restoration, and water resource conservation. Through this activity, REPI and RLDP contributed to the preservation, rehabilitation, and regeneration of the nature reserve, aiming for a future where local communities and the natural environment can sustainably coexist.
REPI remains committed to fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and will continue to engage in environmental conservation efforts that look toward the future of both the region and the planet.

Toward a Society Where Everyone Can Thrive Through Vocational Training Support

REPI is implementing a variety of vocational training programs to support the economic independence of individuals with disabilities and those facing life challenges. By inviting instructors from vocational training centers, REPI provides hands-on guidance in detergent production and donates the necessary tools, creating an environment where participants can manufacture products on their own.
The finished detergents are sold at REPI’s in-house shop, generating income for the participants. In addition to detergent production, participants are also engaged in making prepared foods and healing balms, which are sold through local support stores for people with disabilities. By offering diverse options tailored to each participant’s skills and interests, REPI is creating opportunities for more individuals to work in ways that suit them best.
These initiatives go beyond simple support—they foster “the power to work” and “connections with society,” while also contributing to a sustainable society through local economic circulation and environmentally conscious product development.
Nutrition Support Program for Families Raising Undernourished Children

REPI is implementing a “Nutrition Support Program” to provide ongoing meal assistance and health monitoring for children diagnosed with undernutrition and their families. This initiative aims not only to support the healthy growth of children but also to improve the overall nutritional well-being of their households.
In addition to school meals, the program delivers highly nutritious meals directly to families, ensuring that all members can maintain a balanced diet over a four-month period. This consistent support helps establish healthier eating habits within the home.
Throughout the program, children’s weight is measured monthly, and nurses monitor their health conditions. Based on these assessments, the support provided is carefully adjusted to meet the evolving needs of each family.
REPI remains committed to building a society where every child can grow up healthy and hopeful. We will continue to carry out community-based nutrition support activities that contribute to a brighter and more sustainable future.
