ROHM laser diodes offer excellent temperature characteristics along with high COD and ESD resistance for barcode scanners used in receipt management. Adopting an end-face window structure prevents localized heat generation and overcurrent damage due to static electricity. At the same time, stable temperature characteristics are ensured, with low temperature dependence that contributes to lower power consumption and longer life.

Among ROHM’s broad portfolio are general-purpose 1608-size LEDs for indicators. Both conventional and lens-type models are offered in various luminous intensities and colors to meet a variety of needs.

ROHM has established a new standard for wireless communication using the Wi-SUN FAN protocol that makes it possible to easily collect data and reduce costs in smart logistics applications by enabling the configuration of multi-hop mesh networks for superior coverage and transmission distance while consuming minimal power. Additional features include robust security (IEEE802.11/11i/EAP-TLS/AES) and compliance with international standards to provide greater ease-of-use.
