ROHM Co., Ltd. (“ROHM”) has been awarded the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon in recognition of its support for initiatives aimed at enhancing the appeal of Shiga Prefectural Omi Fuji Karyoku Park.
On March 23, 2026, a conferment ceremony was held at ROHM’s headquarters, where a certificate of commendation was presented by the Shiga Prefectural Government.

In April 2022, ROHM concluded an agreement with Shiga Prefecture titled “Connecting People and Forests,” which sets forth a framework for mutual collaboration and cooperation toward the realization of a sustainable society that coexists with nature.
As part of initiatives based on this agreement, ROHM has supported the development of Omi Fuji Karyoku Park, contributing to improvements in safety through the upgrading of aging pathways and facilities, the conservation and restoration of the natural environment and landscape, and enhanced convenience for visitors—thereby increasing the overall attractiveness of the park.
In addition, in March 2025, ROHM entered into a naming rights agreement, providing long-term support for the park’s maintenance and management as well as efforts to enhance its value.
Surrounded by the natural landscape of Mt. Mikami, also known as “Omi Fuji,” Omi Fuji Karyoku Park has long been cherished by many visitors from both within and outside the prefecture as a hub that connects people with forests and nature. This development support contributes to passing on a rich natural environment to future generations, while also strengthening the park’s role as a place for community interaction and learning.
Guided by its corporate purpose and management vision, ROHM will continue to promote sustainability management, deepen collaboration with local communities, and address social challenges such as environmental conservation and biodiversity preservation, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
