Linear Regulators
Linear regulators, also known as 3-pin or three-terminal regulators, are effective, convenient and relatively low-cost IC devices widely adopted in a variety of power management applications. Used to maintain steady voltage, typical features include low power consumption, high current capability and high voltage resistance, making them ideal for mobile phones, automotive systems, consumer electronics and industrial equipment. In addition, as linear regulators operate with very little output noise, they are often utilized in commercial products as well.
ROHM offers a wide lineup of 3-pin regulators in both standard and automotive-grade types.
