On August 17, the Philippine government announced that Metro Manila and neighboring provinces will revert to the more relaxed general community quarantine (GCQ) from August 19 to 31 from the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ). Following this announcement, Rohm Electronics Philippines, Inc. will gradually increase operation ratio with close communication with the local government.
