On March 1, 2024, ROHM Co., Ltd. was recognized for the second year in a row as the Excellent Company Promoting Cancer Control in the Excellent Company Promoting Cancer Control Award Program under the national project Corporate Action to Promote Cancer Control sponsored by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan.

The Excellent Company for Cancer Control Promotion is a part of the national project Corporate Action for Cancer Control Promotion promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare and recognizes partner companies and organizations that take initiatives to promote the importance of early detection and early treatment of cancer in order to improve the cancer screening rate and balance work with cancer.

ROHM received the award for the second time in recognition of the activities of the in-house cancer compatibility support coordinators since the opening of the Cancer Compatibility Support Consultation Office in May 2023, the dissemination of cancer-related information, cancer education through e-learning, and the introduction of regular gynecological cancer checkups.

ROHM will continue to consider the creation of a comfortable work environment and the maintenance and promotion of mental and physical health as one of the top management priorities and will continue in our efforts to maintain and promote the health of each employee and to achieve work-life balance.
