On March 25, 2023, ROHM participated in the "EARTH HOUR 2023 in YOKOHAMA" lights-off campaign.

Earth Hour is one of the world's largest grassroots events in which people around the world switch off their lights on the same day and at the same time to show their will to prevent global warming and preserve biodiversity.
It is said that urban lighting not only consumes excessive amounts of energy but also has various environmental effects, such as disrupting the balance of ecosystems.

With this in mind, the event was initiated by WWF Australia in 2007 and has been held in Japan since 2010 under the organization of WWF Japan.
In 2022, a record 192 countries and regions around the world participated. On the last Saturday of March every year, the lights are turned off at 20:30 local time, starting in the South Pacific countries closest to the dateline and creating a lights-off relay that circles the globe.

On the day of the event, the lights were turned off at 8:30 pm local time in each participating region, creating a lights-off wave that spreads from the east to the west around the globe due to the time difference.
