What are the differences between the BU48xx/49xx and BU42xx/43xx series reset ICs, which have precautions when using resistance division, and the recommended products listed in the datasheet?
The BU48xx/49xx and BU42xx/43xx series generate a through-current of several mA, so using resistance division tends to cause oscillation to occur. In contrast, the BD48xx/49xx and BD52xx/53xx series recommended in the datasheet are not as susceptible to oscillation since they feature a smaller voltage drop and a through-current that is one order of magnitude smaller.
