For reset ICs, although it is stated as a precaution when using a resistor divider that through-current will flow, does this apply to CMOS output type products?
The through-current and output circuit configuration are unrelated. Through-current is generated at the predriver stage (per-output stage), not the output stage. However, for the BD49xx series a through-current flows even at the CMOS output stage.Related Link:Technical Document
