When an abnormal voltage such as surge is supplied at the input, the overvoltage protection circuit operates, turning the output PNP transistor OFF, reducing the output voltage to 0V. The output automatically returns once the input voltage decreases. Although these are typical values, the overvoltage detection threshold is fixed to approx. 27V for the BAxxCC0 and 33V for the BAxxDD0.
