We are actively seeking a motivated, developing to career level Technical Regional Sales Manager - Automotive with a background in electrical engineering to assist in supplying automotive electronics related components or systems to our Tier 1 or 2 accounts and customer support as part of our sales divisions.

SUMMARY

Seeking a motivated individual to manage US automotive accounts, increase the sales and maintain the profits. Interface with automotive and consumer electronics customers to negotiate contracts, win new business opportunities, build relationships, sell products and act as a first-line source of technical information. This position reports a Sr. Sales Manager and serves as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibility. Qualified candidate will drive to build and maintain sales support to customers regarding technical issues, documentation, and design-in of products. Responsibility includes but not limited to, manage both customers and various resources within the company to meet financial, strategic and customer specific goals. Serve as the primary point of contact within an assigned area and/or for specific programs at existing customers. QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience/Training:

Background and Knowledge of:

Summary

Qualified individuals must be able to provide overall support for the QA department. Qualified applicants have been responsible for leading corporate strategic and tactical legal initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience/Training:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in PMICs and power management; experience in design application boards and developing SW drivers; experience in creating test reports and validating products; experience in supporting customer design wins, either directly or indirectly (along with Sales/FAEs)
  • BSEE, MSEE or PhD with some industry experience
  • Excellent power supply design background including schematic generation, simulation, prototyping and testing

SUMMARY

ROHM Semiconductor has an immediate opening for a motivated, detailed Technical Area Sales Manager to join our team providing account management activities. Seeking associate, career level sales hunter having 2-8 years of related industry experience. The qualified Technical Sales representative will monitor and direct sales/distribution representatives within an assigned area. Interface with customers to negotiate contracts, sell products and act as a first-line source of technical information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contact new and existing customers at many levels to promote, sell, and win the deign-in of ROHM products
  • Set up rep and customer activities with marketing, engineering, customer service and support groups
  • Ensure Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) are conducted at each rep location and follows up with action items as necessary
  • Monitor sales to budget for each representative
  • Provide assistance to customers through improved localized service
  • Manage, control, and direct efforts of sales/distribution organizations in attaining ROHM sales goals and objectives
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of major customers and provides direction to ROHM personnel regarding specific customer activities
  • Assist in all quoting activity for annual contracts and major bids
  • Prepare annual forecasts for sales and distribution
  • Monitor and control costs associated with field sales activity
  • Coordinate design engineering activity at key development locations for designated accounts

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training and Experience:

  • 2-8 years' experience in a sales environment, with at least 1 year direct work experience in a semiconductor or electronic enviornment preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
