In 2022, which marked the 30th year of the Award, ten winners (four in the Citizen category, four in the Corporate category, and two in the Child/pupil/student category) received certificates of merit from Mr. Toshihide Hirahara, the Deputy Mayor of Yokohama at an award ceremony held at Yokohama City Hall on April 25, 2023.
The Award was given in recognition of ROHM's development of environmentally friendly products, environmental activities such as local flower planting, food drives, neighborhood cleanups, beach beautification, 100% renewable energy use, environmental education, and efforts to reduce food loss in the cafeteria.
Again, YTC has also received the Yokohama Global Warming Prevention Award and the 3R Activity Excellent Business Office certification.
ROHM will continue to devote effort to environmental activities at all sites in accordance with our environmental targets for the three important themes of Climate Change, Resource Recycling, and Coexistence with Nature in order to achieve the vision we have set in the ROHM Group Environmental Vision 2050.
