Company Exhibition at the "Ohira Furusato Festival"

LAPIS Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (LAPIS Semiconductor) participates in the "Ohira Furusato Festival" in Ohira Village, where LAPIS Semiconductor's Miyagi Plant is located, with the purpose of making local people to know more about the company. LAPIS Semiconductor exhibited about environmental soil sensors and JAXA satellites Exhibited microprocessors and so on. About 450 people visited the booth and it became an important place for communication with local people.

Cleanup Activities Around the Factory


LAPIS Semiconductor strives to beautify the local environment three times a year, cleaning up the area around the factory with employees and employees of partner companies.

Blood Donation Activity

In order to save the precious lives of people who need blood transfusion due to illness or injury, LAPIS Semiconductor is working on blood donation activities three times a year, together with the employees and employees of cooperating companies working on the premises.

Wild Bird Protection Activities

LAPIS Semiconductor is installing nest boxes to protect wild birds, taking advantage of the forest that spreads across its premises. These nest boxes are carefully crafted by employees from waste pallets generated at the factory. This initiative is a new step toward creating an environment where wild animals can live in peace, and we aim to restore a rich environment where nature and people can coexist with the advice of experts.This activity, which reduces environmental impact through the effective use of waste materials and preserves the local ecosystem, symbolizes our commitment to realizing a sustainable society. We will continue to value coexistence with nature and carry out community-based environmental conservation activities.

Food Drives Activities

LAPIS Semiconductor conducts food drives. A food drives is an activity in which surplus food is collected from each household and donated to specialized organizations or local welfare facilities to be delivered to children, single-parent families, and needy households in need of food support. Foodstuffs donated by employees, such as rice, retort pouch foods, canned foods, and snacks, were given to local children and single-parent families in need of food support through the NPO "Foodbank Tohoku Again".
