FEATURE PRODUCTS
ROHM’s 600V IGBT IPMs achieve class-leading characteristics by simultaneously reducing both radiated noise and power loss, by 6dB and 6%, respectively, resulting in best-in-class performance while reducing design load considerably.
ROHM offers the first zero cross detection circuit for power supplies in the home appliance sector. The BM1ZxxFJ series reduces standby power consumption of the zero cross circuit to just 0.01W while continuously powered. At the same time, delay time error (which varies depending on the AC voltage) that exists with conventional photocoupler-equipped zero cross detection circuits when driving applications is limited to ±50μs or less, allowing for efficient motor drive
ROHM has just released the industry’s first surface mount AC/DC converter ICs with built-in 1700V SiC MOSFET that improves reliability and energy savings while reducing mounting area and costs in a variety of applications.
ROHM expands its lineup of shunt resistors that contribute to greater miniaturization in high power applications. The newly developed GMR320 series increases rated power to 10W, the largest in the low-ohmic class, while unique materials and structure allow ROHM to reduce surface temperature rise by 23% over standard products, ensuring high durability and superior heat dissipation against overcurrent loads.
At the same time, ROHM provides comprehensive support for designers, including SPICE models and sample block diagrams (below).
