Regarding RGB multicolor LEDs, will the luminous intensity be 3x greater if all of the LEDs are lit vs. a monochrome (single-color) LED?
The luminosity of the RGB with all elements lit will be the sum of each element, not 3x the luminosity of a single-color LED.
For example, with an R=350mcd, B=200mcd, and G=660mcd, the total luminosity will be: 350+200+660=1210mcd.
