For the BA8391G, BA2903, and BA2901 ground sense comparators, although there should be no problems if voltage is applied to the input when the supply is not turned ON, what is the current flowing to the input at that time?
A protection diode is inserted between the input pin and VEE. When no power is supplied, the current flowing to the input terminal is the reverse leakage current of the diode on the VEE side, which is on the order ot several tens of pA at 25C.
