User's Manual describes that the appropriate port should be set to the high-impedance output mode when PA0 pin is used for A/D conversion input. Are there any problems if the port is set to input mode (PA0DIR=1, PA0C1=0, PA0C0=0)?
If the port is set to high-impedance input mode (PA0DIR=1, PA0C1=0, PA0C0=0), the Schmitt circuit of the port operates, thus possibly causing a pass-through current to flow depending on input potential. Please set the port to the high-impedance output when it is used for A/D conversion input.
