The World's First Noise-Tolerant Op-Amps

Unprecedented noise immunity contributes to improved reliability and simpler designs in automotive sensor applications

OPAMP.jpg
With the BA8290xYxx-C series, ROHM offers automotive-grade op-amps featuring superior noise immunity. Output voltage fluctuation in all frequency bands is suppressed to less than ±1%, compared to ±3.5% to ±10% with conventional products. This makes it possible to amplify sensor signals without the need for noise countermeasures, significantly reducing design load and contributing to greater reliability. This new series is ideally suited for automotive applications where sensors are used along with the core systems for electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEV).

Kionix's New KX220 Analog Accelerometers for the Industrial Market
Compact high-bandwidth design supports up to +/-40g, ideal for vibration sensing and shock detection in industrial applications

KX220.jpg
ROHM Group company Kionix announced the release of the KX220 series of medium-g tri-axis analog accelerometers. The initial launch will consist of two models: the KX220-1071 and KX220-1072, featuring +/-20g and +/-40g ranges, respectively, and support a maximum signal bandwidth (-3dB) of 8kHz. Both sensors include self-test functions, consume only 0.25mA at 3.3V, and are offered in a compact 10pin 3mmx3mm LGA package.
