  • Product Marketing Manager Discrete Components (m/f/d)

    For our location in Willich, near Dusseldorf we are looking for a: Product Marketing Manager Discrete Components (m/f/d).

    Location : Willich, Germany

     

    Main tasks:

    • In charge of ROHM’ portfolio of Discrete Components with focus on Power Devices
    • Identify, define and develop Design-In solutions at key customers
    • Define product marketing strategies
    • Support sales force for product introductions
    • Conducting market analysis to identify compelling solutions
    • Conducting product presentations and trainings

     

    Job requirements:

    • B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
    • Adequate years of experience in a similar position
    • Demonstrable excellence in business / sales / marketing skills
    • Ability to drive business opportunities to a successful outcome
    • Fluent English language skills
    • Willingness to travel

  • Application Engineer (m/f/d)

    For our location in Willich, near Dusseldorf we are looking for an Application Engineer (m/f/d)

    Location : Willich, Germany

    The position is within the European Technical Center where you will be responsible for the technical support of our customers using new and innovative semiconductor solutions especially focusing on power management solutions (DCDC, PMIC and LED Driver). The role is also seen as the voice of the customer to the Marketing department and IC Engineering teams.

    Main tasks:

    • Design of power management applications; component choice, system calculations, PCB design and evaluation
    • Design reference and evaluation of PCBs
    • Supporting identified business opportunities for power management product area within our defined focused accounts
    • Providing the customer with in depth technical design assistance and trouble shooting
    • Supporting promotional activities
    • Writing application notes, User guides
    • Competitive analysis
    • EMC measurement for Automotive application

     

    Your profile:

    • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Adequate years of experience as Field- or Application Engineer
    • Basic understanding of analog and mixed signal IC design to be able to communicate effectively with designers
    • Experimental skills to evaluate and characterize new products and applications in the lab
    • Negotiation skills with customers addressing technical problems
    • Fluent language skills in English and preferably in German

  • Field Application Engineer (m/f/d)

    For our location in Stuttgart, Germany we are looking for a Field Application Engineer (m/f/d)

    Location : Stuttgart, Germany

    Main tasks:

    • Supporting the automotive business in the area of digital automotive cluster systems by direct interaction with customers suggesting system solutions based on our Timing Controller’s, Video Display’s and other LSI products
    • Undertake custom measurements on our devices to demonstrate that our products will meet the customer’s specifications and conditions
    • Writing application notes
    • The role will be seen as the [technical] voice of the customer to the Marketing Department and the IC Engineering teams in Japan
    • Competitive analysis

    Your profile:

    • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
    • Automotive cluster systems expert having experience in the fields of: Display technology, Digital LSIs for Displays, Panel Interfacing Signal and data buses, Full Programmable Clusters (known as FPK), Automotive MCU architectures
    • EMC – knowledge on methods to reduce the impact of EMC in complex systems
    • Substantial experience in functional safety (ISO 26262)
    • Fluent language skills in English and preferably in German

    Sie verfügen über:
