Automotive 500mA Voltage Tracker - BD3925HFP-C

This IC is voltage trackers for automotive use which feature high withstand-voltage to 50V. They offer the output current loading to 500mA while limiting the quiescent current to 45µA(typ), so that they suit to apply for systems which are permanently connected to the car battery and requiring low-current-consumption. The offset is±15mV(for 5V output.6V

Very important information such as maximum ratings, operating conditions and characteristic graphs are described in the table.

Reverse Voltage Protection

A linear regulator integrated circuit (IC) is a DC-to-DC buck converter system that reduces a DC supply from higher voltage level to a lower voltage level...

Simple Test Method for Estimating the Stability of Linear Regulators

Low drop-out (LDO) regulators developed back in the age when large-capacitance multi-layer ceramic capacitors (hereinafter, MLCCs) were uncommon cause a phase delay, leading to oscillation when connected to a low-ESR capacitor like an MLCC...

Thermal Calculation for Linear Regulator

The loss in linear regulators increases as the difference between the input and output voltages increases. Since most of the loss is converted to heat, a very large amount of heat may be generated in some conditions...

Power Source ON/OFF Characteristics for Linear Regulator

When a linear regulator IC is turned ON, the electric charge is stored in the output capacitor and the output voltage increases up to the specified value.

BAxxCC0 Series Circuit Using a Ceramic Output Capacitor

This application note proposes a circuit using an output ceramic capacitor that allows a stable phase compensation.

Measurement Method for Phase Margin with Frequency Response Analyzer (FRA)

This application note introduces a method for easily measuring the phase margin with a Frequency Response Analyzer (FRA) made by NF Corporation.
