  • How do you calculate the pulse current limit for chip resistors?
    • When a pulse exceeing the rated power is supplied, the pulse limiting power is considered the actual value.
      However, the guaranteed pulse power range consists of the rated power of each resistor, regardless of pulse time.
      Although the usability of final products is ultimately determined by the customer, if the actual waveforms of worrisome or potentially dangerous pulses are shared, ROHM can make recommendations to ensure safe operation.
