ROHM drivers are designed with low power consumption, so it is highly recommended for battery operated products. Various products can support GPO/PWM function for LED backlighting and LED button illumination realizing less flicker by various frequency setting function, can support maximum 30 key detect function to reduce PCB wiring and to minimize microcontroller size and cost, has integrated contrast adjustment by EVR function setting. Products that have TTL compatible input interface are also available, these are well-suited for wide-voltage range of MCUs.
