Our ROHM Powervation (RPV) group is actively seeking a motivated, seasoned Digital AC/DC and Isolated DC/DC Technical Product Marketing Manager to contribute to the team from our Santa Clara headquartered location.

The Technical Product Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating the RPV operational activities related to a specific market. From the planning and execution through the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with LSI engineering team, other ROHM sales, business development, marketing and support to ensure the revenue growth and goals are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:

  • Gathers and interprets and gives feedback on customer requirements
  • Be an expert with respect to the associated technology, products and competition
  • Delivers MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Carries out market and completion analysis
  • Defines product strategy and roadmap
  • Develops the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Works with external 3rd parties on joint promotions or reference designs
  • Performs product demos to customers

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related disciplines) is required; advance degrees Master's or Ph.D. ideal, preferred; or combination of education and industry work experience
  • Minimum 6-10 year's digital power electronics experience in recent technologies and demonstrated skills & background supporting sales and marketing environment in Semiconductor/Electronics industry
  • Experience and understanding of networking & telecom applications, server market, gaming console and modular power supply manufactures
  • Experience and understanding of computing (serve, workstation, high-end motherboard, IPC)
  • Experience with Intel and AMD based voltage regulator specs & proprietary interfaces
  • Experience related to isolated DC/DC power supplies and Power Factor Correction circuits a plus
  • Experience with digital (full-digital and hybrid) and analog PWM controllers, and understanding of trade-off, advantages of each, and market trends
  • Long-term experience in product marketing and technical support activities
  • Experience in managing technical products

Background and Knowledge of:

  • Deep technical background in Power Electronics
  • Understanding of digital power, SMBus/I2C interfaces and PMBus command set
  • Understanding of controller, gate driver, & high voltage power devices for these converters, as well as design trade-offs related to EMI filtering techniques and design decisions
  • Understanding of basics of transformer design (materials used & trade-offs, and how design decisions affect cost, manufacturability, and system performance)
  • Market knowledge of the power semiconductor market

Application Engineer- Power

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Training:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in digital POL, designing application boards and developing SW drivers; creating test reports and validating products; supporting customer design wins, either directly or indirectly (along with Sales/FAEs)

  • Point of load (POL) high current buck power supplies for use in computing and networking markets
  • Digital control techniques and working with digital controlled (through an interface) power supplies.

We are actively seeking a motivated developing to career level Automotive Sales Manager with a background in electrical engineering to assist in supplying automotive electronics related components or systems to our Tier 1 or 2 accounts and customer support as part of our sales divisions.

Summary

Seeking a motivated individual to manage US automotive accounts, increase the sales and maintain the profits. Interface with automotive and consumer electronics customers to negotiate contracts, win new business opportunities, build relationships, sell products and act as a first-line source of technical information. This position reports a Sr. Sales Manager and serves as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibility. We are seeking a detail- and results-oriented individual with a minimum of 2 years A/R and collection experience who will take full ownership in this role. This is a regular, fulltime opportunity (40 hours per week) reporting to the Accounting Manager in our Accounting department. This is a non-exempt, support position.

Qualified applicant will be responsible for securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts and tracking and resolving discrepancies and outstanding payment issues in a timely manner. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principals and be proficient at computerized systems, accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially having intermediate to advance skills using Excel.

Looking for a strong candidate that will display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be an effective communicator, both written and verbally, as he or she will interface with all levels within and outside the company.

Material Handler - Parttime

SUMMARY

ROHM Semiconductor USA is looking for an experience Material Handler to work part-time (about 25 hours per week). Seeking candidates who can work a 12n-5pm shift in our Otay Warehouse facility to identify, move, handle, pack, and store our products. ROHM offers a wide variety of semiconductor and consumer electronics components and products. This is a great opportunity for students or those seeking supplemental hours and extra income!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:

  • Accurately pick or pull the correct materials for packing and shipping to customers
  • Accurately label and ship to customers
  • Track and monitor inventory levels
  • Safely and properly store products
  • General use of powered industrial lift equipment and reporting maintenance necessities
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required and assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or training desired
  • 3-6+ months working experience in shipping/receiving, material handler, and/or warehouse (preferably in high-tech or semiconductor/electronics environments)
  • Knowledge of Warehouse OSHA Standards
  • Ability to repeatedly lift products weighing 25-100 lbs.
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Forklifts certification not required; a plus
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods; ability to lift, reach, bend, or pull
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to sustain dependable and reliable attendance
  • Strong command of English language (oral, written, reading and listening)

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements: Warehouse environment, palletizing, lift trucks, lift, stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, pull, repetitive motion.
