SUMMARY

ROHM Semiconductor USA has an immediate opening for a proven Technical Program Manager to drive project initiatives and enhance the capabilities of the team. Qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating the design centers operational activities related to a specific market. From the planning and execution through the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with engineering teams, other DCs sales, business development, and marketing; and support to ensure the revenue growth and goals are met.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Detailed understanding of optical sensors, magnetic sensors and multi-chip modules. Experience and detailed understanding of their integration in consumer electronic systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:

  • Engage new and existing contacts at the key customer engineering at many levels to promote, sell, and win the design-in of ROHM products
  • Engineering project management, coordinate and track spec development targets with sample development schedules

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years related industry and work experience
  • Work history and demonstrated skills & background providing engineering project management, or application/system engineering support in the Semiconductor industry

SUMMARY

Seeking a motivated individual to manage US automotive accounts, increase the sales and maintain the profits. Interface with automotive and consumer electronics customers to negotiate contracts, win new business opportunities, build relationships, sell products and act as a first-line source of technical information.   • Minimum 6-10 year's digital power electronics experience in recent technologies and demonstrated skills & background supporting sales and marketing environment in Semiconductor/Electronics industry
  • Experience and understanding of networking & telecom applications, server market, gaming console and modular power supply manufactures

Application Engineer- Power

The Power Applications Engineer provides detailed device and application knowledge, assisting sales in product promotions and end customer selection and design-in process.   • Assist in resolving customer technical issues
  • Support sales in promoting RPV products, including the application circuit design
  • Create reference designs and demo boards for end applications using RPV products
  • Validate new silicon or firmware products by creating test plans and using a combination of python automation and manual testing.
  • Collect customer input to drive Market Requirement Documents for new products proposals
  • Perform product benchmarking and competitive analysis
  • Support global marketing with trade-shows, product trainings, demos, and marketing collateral
  • Provide detailed technical knowledge within a specific market segment
  • Liaises with LSI teams, system test engineers to ensure resolution of customer returns

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Training:

  • BSEE minimum requirement; MSEE or PhD is highly desired and related semiconductor/electronic industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in digital POL, designing application boards and developing SW drivers; creating test reports and validating products; supporting customer design wins, either directly or indirectly (along with Sales/FAEs)

  • Point of load (POL) high current buck power supplies for use in computing and networking markets
  • Digital control techniques and working with digital controlled (through an interface) power supplies.

ROHM has an immediate opening for a regular, fulltime Technical Regional Sales Manager. Seeking an experienced hunter to sell ROHM's products. The primary responsibilities may include finding, generating, and developing new OEM partners in order to sell ROHM's products to customers; develops new accounts and or expands existing, having experience supporting accounts with an emphasis in power management (PMIC) technologies. Customers may be geographic or named accounts. Monitors and directs sales/distribution representatives within an assigned area; interfaces with customers to negotiate contracts, sell products and serve as a first-line source of technical information. Qualified candidate will drive to build and maintain sales support to customers regarding technical issues, documentation, and design-in of products. Position ownership includes but not limited to, manage both customers and various resources within the company to meet financial, strategic and customer specific goals. Serves as the primary point of contact with an assigned area and/or for specific programs at existing customers. You will actively direct and coordinate the technical stage of the sales process working with all functional internal and external groups, such as sales team and engineering units.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Digital/Analog or related disciplines); Business or applicable major or equivalent combination of education/training and work experience, or equivalent industry work experience
  • Ideally 3 to 7 year's recent experience and demonstrated skills and background supporting a sales and marketing environment in the Semiconductor or Consumer Electronics industry

Background and Knowledge of:

  • Must be able to understand the market challenges and ROHM's business processes and product lines, market segments and applications, emphasis in power management (PMIC)
  • A technical background in Electronics is highly desired
