DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility
  • Defines industry-leading analog designs focused on high-performance Power Management & Battery Charger ICs

  • Performs system engineering functions such as analysis, modeling, and simulation of various platforms and solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical major; Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years experience in systems design engineering or experience in design application boards and developing SW/HW
  • Strong proficiency and solid knowledge in analog ICs and end equipment device architectures, battery-operated devices, power management systems, power sequencing, battery management, switching voltage regulators, etc.
  • Experience working in the electronics/semiconductor industry
  • Design methodologies
  • Engineering and technology; Computers and electronics - circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming

SUMMARY

Seeking a motivated invdividual to manage US automotive accounts, increase the sales and maintain the profits. SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:

  • Create technical marketing presentations in coordination with our Design Center, Marketing, Sales and other groups.
  • Create New Production Introductions (NPI)
  • Create cross-reference data
  • Assist with daily quoting and cross-referenceing activites
  • Learn and maintain knowledgebase with ROHMs product lines and internal programs and processes.
  • Perform data analysis on large Excel pricing files by independently utilizing functions such vlookup, exact, left, if, and concatenate; includes the ability to interpret data and make conclusionsand provide suggestions from analysis
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams on publication of product literature and marketing communications, new product launches, advertisement creation, placement & etc.
  • Participate in bi-weekly promotional planning conference calls
  • Analyze competitive pricing trends
  • Provide guidance to product marketing managers and distribution sales team on NPI
  • Create and manage product launch schedules
  • Conduct training for Distributor partner branch Sales/Inside Sales and technical Field Application Engineers on product launches and focus

We are seeking a results-proven and results-driven leader who will inspire, motivate and expand our embedded software and algorithm team to success while providing complete software solutions for Kionix sensors. This position will serve a dual role as algorithm expert and architect. We are seeking talent with escalating hands-on responsibility in software engineering development and industry-related MEMS sensors experience. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated expertise in a variety of the industry's concepts, practices, and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and lead software, algorithm, and test team
  • Invent and patent proprietary motion processing algorithms that make use of Kionix and ROHM sensors
  • Lead resource optimization efforts on memory and CPU-cycle constrained embedded targets
  • Manage software programs covering a wide range of target capabilities and operating systems, including embedded hub sensor processors such as Cortex M0+; Android and WIN8 SOCs; Sensor device drivers in a variety of formats; Sensor fusion, including auto calibration of all sensors; Fixed point implementation; context awareness/activity monitoring and solution certification consistent with Windows Logo and Android Compatibility Compliance.
  • Adapt software process as appropriate to ensure system reliability while maintaining highly efficient development

  • Product knowledge/experience: Acceleration, Gyro sensors, mobile terminals, gaming controllers, HDD protection devices, PNDs, PC terminals, automotive applications, medical & healthcare products and sports/fitness equipment.
  • Able to quickly adapt work plan and resource assignments to best accommodate rapid customer driven changes in priority, while maximizing efficient progress toward established software development roadmap

Preferred Background:

  • Work experience and strong background in MEMS sensors, both HW/SW
  • Patented inventions in MEMS, GPS, Audio, Touch Sensors or other field related to sensor technology a plus
