Isolated Gate Drivers

Isolated drivers protect people and equipment from electrical current hazards. ROHM offers a broad lineup featuring 2500 or 3750 Vrms isolation voltages that incorporate multiple protection functions, including fault signal output, undervoltage lockout (UVLO), thermal protection, and short current protection (SCP, DESAT).

On-chip transformer processes utilizing proprietary microfabrication technology allowed ROHM to develop isolated gate drivers that provide high-efficiency, fast switching, and low-power operation to meet a variety of industrial and automotive needs.
