BM5480MUV is a Full Digital Speaker Amplifier withbuilt-in DSP (Digital Sound Processor) designed forFlat-panel TVs in particular for space-saving andlow-power consumption, delivers an output power of20W+20W. This IC employs Bipolar, CMOS, andDMOS (BCD) process technology that eliminatesturn-on resistance in the output power stage andinternal loss due to line resistances up to an ultimatelevel. With this technology, the IC can achieve highefficiency. In addition, the IC is packaged in a compactreverse heat radiation type power package to achievelow power consumption and low heat generation andeliminates necessity of external heat-sink up to a totaloutput power of 40W. This product satisfies both needsfor drastic downsizing, low-profile structures and manyfunction, high quality playback of sound system.
