  • Field Application Engineer – Automotive Power (m/f)

    For our locations in Nürnberg or Stuttgart, we are looking for a: Field Application Engineer – Automotive Power (m/f). The position will be in our Power Systems Department where you will be responsible for the technical support of our customers using new and innovative semiconductor solutions especially focusing on Silicon Carbide (SiC) devices.

    Location : Nürnberg or Stuttgart

    Your responsibilities

    • Support identified business opportunities for assigned product areas within our defined focused accounts
    • Evaluate new applications and new products
    • Develop tools and solutions for sales promotion to fulfil customer's specifications and requirements
    • Competitive analysis
    • Represent the customer to our HQ (Power Device development)
    • Work closely with Sales and Product Marketing departments
    • Represent the company in Automotive Power electronic conferences

     

    Job requirements:

    • B.Sc. and/or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
    • Adequate years of experience in the field of power electronics for electrical vehicles
    • Negotiation skills with customers facing technical challenges

    Main tasks :

    For our location in Paris, France we are looking for a: Country Manager (m/f), responsible for the regions France and Spain.

    Tasks and responsibilities:

    • Responsible to implement and execute the sales strategies developed by the Sales Directors for both current accounts and new businesses.
    • Cultivate new markets and new customers in the region.
    • Adhere to the companies sales channel strategy (Direct Deliveries versus Distribution Channel).
    • Ensure that the company's sales processes shall be followed and KPI's have to be defined, monitored and reviewed.
    • Responsible to coordinate all necessary activities with other departments – such as Marketing, Design Centre etc - in order to ensure that operational goals will be achieved.
    • Supervise all staff members for his/her region, monitoring the performance, mentoring and communicate effectively to the team and Management Board.
    • Represent the company externally such as to the industry association.

     

    Skills and qualifications:

    • Education MSc level in Electronics or equivalent, preferably with marketing and some financial qualifications or trainings.
    • Several years of working experience in the Semiconductor industry covering the Automotive and Industrial Segments and Distribution channel.
    • Strong experience in Country/region management or in similar position with business-oriented thinking in Sales, Marketing and business operation with a proven track record demonstrating the management experience and high standards of customer service.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
    • Hands-on mentality and sensitive to cultural differences as well as excellent English language skills (verbal and written).
    • Spanish language would be an advantage

    Sie betreuen hauptsächlich die süddeutschen Niederlassungen unserer Automotive-Kunden und sind verantwortlich für das Design-in in deren Entwicklungsabteilungen vor Ort wie auch für die Umsetzung und Durchführung von Produktfreigaben.

     

    Das sollten Sie mitbringen:
