ROHM Semiconductor was awarded “innovator of the year” by DESIGN & ELEKTRONIK magazine

DESIGN & ELEKTRONIK is one of the most popular specialized electronics magazines with 65.000 readers per issue. Based on readers survey 83,7% of the subscribers work in R&D or construction. However, for this specific award it was not the editorial office to select the winners. Round about 1.600 readers of DESIGN & ELEKTRONIK magazine voted online to appoint the innovators of the year. The desired glass trophies were finally handed over in Munich’s beautiful location „Seehaus“ in the middle of the English garden. Editor in chief, Frank Riemenschneider and his team emphasized that each winner was chosen for a specific innovation the readers appreciated the most. The awards were assigned in the following eight categories:

ROHM was recognized for the Arduino sensor kit and the idea to use Arduino as mobile measurement station with this full-fledged sensor set. Dr. Michael Davis received the award representing ROHM Europe GmbH. Well done to the whole team!
