3-pin Step-Down DC/DC Converter Module
The BP5275 DC/DC converter module integrates all required components into a single, compact package, including the control circuit, switching element, coil, and even input/output capacitors. Stepper Motor Drivers for Optimum Performance
ROHM high-reliability Stepper Motor Drivers (BD638xx/BD642x/BD6290 series) offer exceptional performance features for printers and copiers, scanners, security cameras, robotics, sewing machines, factory automation and other precision motor control applications.
These full- to sixteenth-step Stepper Drivers operate from a single 36V supply and are available in an ultra-thin, compact package featuring a bottom side heat sink and adjacent pin short protection. A unique Ghost Supply Prevention function is also included that prevents malfunctions, along with voltage, current, and thermal protection for greater reliability.
Thin, High Brightness RGB LEDs: SMLW56 and SMLV56
ROHM offers two new RGB LEDs (smlw56rgb1w, smlv56rgb1w) featuring high brightness. Original package technology results in the thinnest form factor in the industry, making it possible to configure the LEDs a longer distance away from the object, resulting in uniform lighting and optimum color mixing.

Hall Effect ICs with Low Standby Current in Compact Packages
ROHM's Hall Effect ICs for portable applications are available in the industry's smallest chip-scale BGA package. This physical advantage combined with the industry's lowest average current, fully integrated compensation and push-pull CMOS logic output circuitry, make these ICs an attractive alternative to mechanical switches and competitive Hall effect devices. High Brightness Chip LEDs with Reflector
The SMLK19WBECW/DW and SMLK34WBECW/DW white LEDs feature the highest brightness in their class (50-150mA). Both series are offered in a high power, high heat dissipation PSML2 package with integrated reflector. Proprietary technology increases the number of thermal pathways to the substrate, while an exposed copper frame design with high thermal conductivity is utilized for industry-leading brightness in the medium current range: 2-7cd at 150mA.

The BD91x series of step-down switching regulators combine ROHM's proprietary SLLM™ (Simple Light Load Mode) technology with current-mode PWM control to provide exceptional regulation and high efficiency during both low- and high-current load conditions.
Temperature Sensor IC
ROHM offers a broad lineup of ultra-compact, low current consumption thermostat output temperature sensors optimized for temperature monitoring and overheating protection in compact devices of all types. The BDJxxxxHFV series integrates a temperature detection element, constant current circuit, and high precision reference power source in a single chip. Additional features include low current consumption (7.5µA – 50% less than conventional products), built-in power down function, high analog output temperature sensitivity, precision thermostat, detection temperature hysteresis, and precise analog output (±2.5°C). Multiple models are available in a range of detection temperatures, from 55°C to 90°C in 5°C intervals. The units are available in a compact HVSOF5 package – 70% smaller than conventional SSOP5 packages.
PWM Output H-Bridge Driver ICs for DC Brush Motors
ROHM H-bridge motor drivers (BD62xx series) are compatible with direct PWM drive and integrate a VREF-variable function for optimized duty control.
Pyroelectric Infrared Motion Sensor Amp

ECOMOS™ Series Handles Reduced Supply Voltages in Portable Devices
ROHM's ECOMOS™ series of P- and N-channel MOSFETs are designed to meet the lower gate drive voltages required of emerging portable electronic devices. Advanced proprietary processes reduce RDS(on) by up to 90% over comparable products at low 1.2V or 1.5V gate drive (VGS) operation. USB Host Audio Decoders
ROHM’s BU9457KV and BU9458KV USB host audio decoder ICs are compatible with a variety of audio formats and integrate protection circuits designed to prevent malfunction due to noise from the effects of wiring and nearby devices. An improved communication error recovery circuit is also built into the USB interface block for high ESD resistance. Additional features include interface hardware such as USB/SD memory controllers, a D/A converter, sampling rate converter, compressed audio file decoder, file system, and system controller – all on a single chip - allowing simple control (e.g. play, stop, fast forward, rewind) without the need for a microcontroller and enabling configuration by simply adding the IC to existing systems.

High Power LED Driver for Illumination
The BP5845W isolated LED driver features constant current output (set via external resistors), an integrated transformer, and is capable of driving 6-9 1W LEDs from 100VAC input. In addition, flicker-free dimming (0-100%) is possible using PWM control.
Ground Isolation Amp
ROHM’s BA3121F ground isolation amp is compatible with compact external capacitors and efficiently eliminates problems caused by wiring resistance along with noise generated by peripheral circuits. Additional features include low distortion and high common mode rejection.
Broadband Triple Circuit Video Switchers
The BA7657F and BH7659FS broadband video switchers were developed for input switching in high precision PC monitors and high definition TVs. 3 dual input broadband video switching circuits for RGB signal switching and 2-4 dual input switching circuits for sync and I2C BUS signals are integrated. The BA7657F features a built-in sync signal circuit while the BH7659FS is equipped with a power save function.
Five-input Dual Circuit Video Switchers
The BA7626F/FS is a 5-input video signal switcher with a 6dB broadband amp developed for use in AV amp switching. Two recording/playback devices such as a DVD recorder and VCR, and three playback-only devices (i.e. DVD players and video game devices) can be connected making it easy to configure a high-performance, highly functional system.
Triple Circuit Video Switchers
The BA7602F, BA7603F, BA7606F, BA7606FS, BA7607F, BA7609F and BA7627FV video signal switchers feature dual inputs with either 2 or 3 circuits. In addition to bias input and clamp input types, units integrating a pedestal clamp suitable for RGB signal switching are also available ensuring broad compatibility.

Optimized for multi-function, high performance battery-driven portable devices of all types, ROHM’s DC/DC converters and controllers (BD8301MUV/BD8303MUV) feature a wide input voltage range and automatic step-up/-down operation for reduced power consumption. High output efficiency is maintained across the entire input range. Only one coil is used and fewer parts are required than conventional Sepic systems contributing to smaller power supply configurations.

Operation is guaranteed between -40ºC and +85ºC, making them ideal for car entertainment and navigation systems.

Thermostat Output Temperature Sensors
ROHM's output ICs with temperature switching function (BDExxx0G series) eliminate the need for the complicated circuitry required in conventional thermistor-type temperature detection circuits by integrating a high precision reference voltage source, comparator, constant current circuit, and temperature detection element in a single chip.
Additional features include adjustable detection temperature (3-stage: target, ±5°C), high detection accuracy (±4°C), low current consumption (16uA typ.), detection temperature hysteresis, and open drain/active low output. Fifteen models are offered in a wide range of temperatures (-20°C to +120°C, in 10°C increments) including SSOP5 package types.
Video Drivers with Built-in Low Voltage Single Circuit Video Switcher
ROHM’s lineup of 1 output/3 input (BH76330FVM/BH76331FVM) and 1 output/6 input (BH76360FV/BH76361FV) video switchers are available in either clamp or bias input. The wide operating temperature range (-40ºC to +85ºC) makes them ideal for applications requiring high reliability such as car AV and navigation systems.

Ultra-compact PicoLED™-eco
ROHM has developed the PicoLED™-eco (SML-P11) series of ultra-compact LEDs. Patented technology results in twice the brightness as conventional products in the low current region of 1mA - all from one of the industry’s smallest, thinnest packages that are 53% and 74% smaller in area and volume, respectively, than the conventional 1608 (0603) size. Energy consumption is approximately 50% less at the same brightness, and the high reliability four-element structure (AlGaInP) prevents brightness degradation - even after long term, continuous use. These LEDs are available in red, orange, yellow, and green, and their low power consumption makes them ideal for compact portable, battery driven devices.
Single Circuit Video Switchers
The BA7654F, BA7653AF/AFV, and BA7652AF video switchers integrate 2-3 inputs into a single circuit. Utilization of a high-performance feedback clamp circuit at the input terminal enables compatibility with 0.01µF ceramic capacitors for input coupling resulting in increased space savings. Features such as a high-speed switching function and a broad dynamic range ensures suitability with a wide range of applications.
4-way Tilt Sensor
ROHM offers the standard RPI-1031 optical sensor that detects movement in 90° intervals using an in-house infrared LED, 2 phototransistors and light blocking mechanism.
A novel architecture is utilized for silent operation eliminating the need for soundproofing while increasing design flexibility. In addition, optical sensors are not susceptible to vibration or magnetic fields as are mechanical and magnetic 4-way sensors respectively resulting in greater reliability.
