The music document catalogues published by this committee (currently 33 issues) were digitized and a wide range of materials were created, including books, bulletins, and academic papers as well as materials in related fields, such as cultural, popular, and folk music.

CD Recording for propaganda the NHK Electronic Music production technique

We are creating CDs, with the aim of allowing the general public to listen to electronic music made by NHK since 1955, as well as of keeping a record of these works to be available to electronic music researchers. We have been recording the works, which number about 100, on CDs, starting from the early works in order to include all the songs. We have recorded 17 songs on three CDs, entitled "In Search of Original Sources of Sound." A 4th CD will be completed in March 2006, which will include six new songs.

The oldest from of Okinawan chants OMORO-SOUSHI

We intend to create a CD titled "Okinawa's old ballads - Ofu Omoro and Umui." Although Okinawa's old ballads have been introduced in various books, few have been sonically reproduced. This CD covers "Ofu Omoro," "Umuishinka's Umui in Chibana, Okinawa," and "A Vestal Virgin's Umui," as well as divine ballads (umui, kweena, etc.) handed down in the main island of Okinawa and other areas, along with a booklet featuring detailed descriptions. We intend to introduce "omoro" and "umui" as ballads to be sung, and to search for the origin of Okinawan culture.
