Tantalum Capacitors

Tantalum capacitors offer greater capacitance in a more compact form factor, along with superior temperature and DC bias characteristics compared with ceramic chip capacitors.
In addition, conductive polymer is used at the cathode for greater conductivity than conventional manganese dioxide, resulting in significantly lower ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance).
