Single-circuit Video Switchers

The BA7654F, BA7653AF/AFV. and BA7652AF video signal switchers integrate 2-3 inputs into a single circuit. Utilization of a high-performance feedback clamp circuit at the input terminal makes it possible to use a 0.01µF ceramic capacitor for input coupling, resulting in increased space savings. In addition, features such as a high-speed switching function and a broad dynamic range ensures suitability with a wide range of applications.

Feedback clamp circuit ensures compatibility with compact ceramic capacitors

ROHM's single video switch ICs integrate a feedback clamp circuit that precisely clamps the video signal (even when there is little clamp current) as well as a high-performance bias current compensation circuit at the input terminal, making it possible to use a 0.01µF ceramic capacitor (which can be easily mounted) for input coupling instead of the 1µF to 10µF electrolytic capacitor that is normally used. Compact ceramic capacitors possessing high-dielectric FZ characteristics and contribute to increased space savings and lower costs are recommended.
