Video / Audio Interface ICs for TV and DVD Recorders

The trend of DVD recorders and other video equipment are towards higher performance and more functionality, increasing the number of inputs / outputs required in order to accommodate the growing number of data formats, such as digital broadcasting (via BS, terrestrial digital tuners, STB (set top boxes)). This results in a more complicated I/O system. In response to this ROHM has developed a lineup of interface LSIs that can process the video module portion using a single chip and the audio module portion on a single chip.
