Ambient Light Sensor ICs

ROHM ambient light sensor ICs are designed to detect the brightness over a wide range, from, from darkness to direct sunlight, and output the data in order to adjust LCD brightness for optimum visibility and lower power consumption. The lineup is offered in different output types (i.e. current, comparator, digital) for maximum compatibility.

Single Chip Optical Proximity + Ambient Light Sensor IC

  • With combination of IrLED (Rohm:SIM-030 recommended), it realizes proximity sensing(BH1772GLC)
  • It can detect proximity of 1 to 10cm by the proximity output of 8bit digital value (log compression).
