Single Chip Optical Proximity + Ambient Light Sensor IC

This series is a single chip IC that combined optical proximity sensor with digital ambient light sensor. In Proximity sensor part, it is detected whether to be near the reflection thing (man's face and hand) by detecting strength of the reflected light from infrared LED. In ambient light sensor part, it can measure the wide range of illuminance to adjust the brightness of the LCD display and the keypad. As a result, it reduces the power consumption of various equipment and improves the visibility of the display.
