ROHM's core switching power supplies are designed to provide precise power to DDR-SDRAM cores and feature superior response characteristics and high efficiency. A wide supply voltage range (0.7V-2.5V) makes them ideal for low voltage/high current DDR-SDRAM applications.

Features

SLLM (PFM) control ensures efficient operation, even in suspend mode

In suspend mode nearly all blocks go into an OFF state and the current decreases significantly. DDR-SDRAM is one of the few blocks that must operate in order to preserve data. ROHM's switching power supply controllers feature SLLM (Simple Light Load Mode) control to minimize power consumption during light loads (i.e. suspend mode operation), prolonging battery life.
