Negative Voltage Protection Type

ROHM’s USB negative charge protection IC prevent damage due to reverse polarity connection as well as overvoltage/overcurrent conditions. High voltage resistance (±30V) and multiple protection circuits ensure stable operation with a high degree of reliability.

±30V overvoltage and reverse polarity protection

Device damage due to reverse polarity, incompatible connector interface or excessive power supply may occur when charging via USB. ROHM charge protection ICs prevent this by integrating a ±30V overvoltage protection circuit, along with other safety functions, providing protection during reverse connection up to -30V, ensuring stable operation.
