FAQ's
  • For Speaker Amplifiers,
How is the distortion factor of a class-D speaker amplifier measured?
    • To measure the distortion factor, the PWM output signal must be converted to an analog signal.
Add a low-pass filter (LC filter) in series with the output of the class-D Speaker Amplifier and convert it to an analog signal.
For the constants of the low-pass filter (LC filter), please refer to the datasheet.
When using Audio Precision's Audio Analyzer, input the analog signal converted by AUX-0025 to the Audio Analyzer to measure the distortion factor.
