The BD9641NUV 1ch synchronous rectification step-up switching regulator integrates a FET and is compatible with single-cell li-ion voltages (2.5V-5.5V), making it ideal for compact portable equipment. In addition, synchronous rectification results in an industry-leading 96% efficiency at a relatively high load current (approx. 150mA), while the compact package, combined with simpler peripheral circuitry, contribute to smaller power supply systems.

ROHM's lineup of high performance LDO regulators and DC/DC converters integrate a variety of channels on a single chip. A unique disperse power supply element design saves space while making it possible to use only the number of power supplies required for better efficiency. The BH6172GU utilizes original circuit technology for safe, high efficiency driving across all load regions (i.e. 85% efficiency at Io=150mA).

ROHM's original light load control method, SLLM (Simple Light Load Mode), was designed to operate efficiently under light loads for significantly reduced power consumption. In addition, synchronized startup of multiple power supplies is now easier with faster load response (20mV), about half that of conventional products, using the Enable (EN) and Soft Start (SS) terminals.
