Mobile Phones/Portable Equipment Products
The new VMT3 package features just 2 pins, taking up approximately 43% less space than the EMT6 package. In addition, complex (compound) types are offered, and the VT6T11, VT6T12, VT6X11, and VT6X12 can be used in pairs, making them ideal for current mirror applications (hFE1/hFE=2.09-1.1).

ROHM boost/buck automatic switching DC/DC converters and controllers feature low-loss operation. The BD8301MUV integrates a low ON-resistance 100mΩ MOSFET at the output stage. Output loss is suppressed for greater efficiency. In addition, the products provide multiple high-current Vcc and Ground terminals, reducing wiring resistance for lower power loss.
KMD2 Package
500mW package power in the 1608 sizenew
RB551SS-30 / RB161SS-20 / RB550SS-30 / RB160SS-40
ROHM's now offers the KMD2 package, created utilizing proprietary chip device technology and ultra-fine process technology cultivated from the development of the GMD2 package (used for small-signal diodes). At only 1.6mm x 0.8mm, it represents the industry's smallest class of high power diodes. Currently only Schottky barrier diodes are available (2 types). However, Zener diodes are now under development.
The BD2270HFV controller IC integrates a low ON-resistance NMOSFET, making it easy to drive load switches. Additional features include a charge pump circuit and comparator circuit with hysteresis in the discharge and control blocks. The monolithic design utilizes less space, simplifies design, and improves energy efficiency over conventional discrete configutations.

Utilization of new low voltage drive processes has resulted in stable operation at VGS=1.2V with significantly lower ON-resistance than conventional 2.5V products for reduced power consumption - up to 90% less.
Thermostat Output Temperature Sensor IC
Low current consumption (75µA) with intermittent operation
BDJ□□□□1HFV Series
ROHM thermostat output temperature sensor ICs are available in the ultra-compact HVSOF5 package (1.6× 1.6mm t=0.6mm). Open Drain Active High operation ensures a temperature detection accuracy of +/-2.5ºC with no complicated circuitry required. Additional features include a power down function, low current consumption (75µA),and an analog temperature output pin, making them suitable for applications of all types, including overheat detection and temperature monitoring circuits.
ROHM is the first in the market to develop white LED drivers for backlights capable of real-time automatic brightness adjustment based on the ambient light as well as the brightness of the rojected image. The result is greater energy efficiency and less eye fatigue, even when viewing for long periods.
With superior spectrum sensitivity characteristics close to human visual acuity, ROHM's brightness sensors ensure a wide range of illumination measurements. Original photo IC technologies enable stable operation with a sensitivity tolerance of approximately ±10%, regardless of different light sources (i.e. fluorescent, incandescent). The result is high precision light adjustment capability with efficient power consumption.
ROHM' s lineup of AIEs (Adaptive Image Enhancers) features intelligent, hardware-based brightness correction in real time. Only areas that require brightness correction are adjusted, resulting in visibility similar to the human eye.
ROHM's Xenon tube driver not only integrates all circuits required for flash functionality on a single chip, but generates the ideal light intensity based on the distance to the subject, reducing power consumption. In addition, a newly developed phototransistor interface circuit reduces standby current to less than 1µA while maintaining high speed operation.
LVDS Serial Differential Transmission ICs
200mV low swing mode LVDS Serial Differential Transmission ICs
BU8260KVT / BU7986KUT
BU7982KV / BU7988KVT
ROHM's LVDS serial differential transmission ICs feature a low swing mode and were designed to be energy-efficient. Low EMI is ensured by integrating noise countermeasures.
