Power Modules
ROHM's isolated LED driver supports input voltages from 80V to 120VAC, simplifying configuration of single power supply systems. In addition, smooth, flicker-free dimming (0-100%) is possible via PWM signal input. 6-9 1W LEDs can be driven in series. Offered in a compact, low-profile package (46.0 x 22.2 x 18.3mm) ideal for compact and portable sets.
The BP5729 switching regulator module utilizes a pseudo-resonance method (RCC) and integrates both the primary switching and secondary control circuits into a single package. A wide input voltage range of 85 - 264VAC (120 - 372VDC) ensures worldwide compatibility, while an output voltage range of between 3.3V and 24V, combined with a 900V power MOSFET, make it ideal for a wide variety of applications.
The BP5090-12 AC/DC converter is offered in a compact SIP8 package. A feedback overcurrent protection circuit is built in, reducing the number of external components required, including a line filter normally used for noise reduction. In addition, high 83% conversion efficiency is ensured [input voltage range: -113 to -195VDC (AC conversion: 80V to 138V); output: 12.5V/200mA.
Developed using energy saving technologies culled from AC/DC conventer designs, the BP5843A seamlessly integrates all control circuits, switching elements, transformers, and constant current circuits required for LED drive into a compact SIP package.
