Notice Regarding Effects of Flooding in Thailand (Report No. 2)

The following is a report on the status of ROHM Group production locations in the area affected by flooding in Thailand, as of 11:00 AM, October 16, 2011.

Current status No floodwaters have penetrated the plant premises or surrounding area, For the safety of employees, suspension of operations are scheduled from the afternoon of Oct. 16 to oct. 18.

Current status At 15:30 on Saturday, October 8, the governor of Ayutthaya issued orders for closing of the Rojana Industrial Park where the plant is located, and operations were temporarily suspended. Floodwaters have begun to penetrate the plant premises, and suspension of operations continues. The schedule for recommencement of operations has not yet been determined. Regarding the supply chain to our customers, we are currently making preparations for alternate production at ROHM Group and other production locations. For specific details, our sales representatives are making contact with customers individually.
