Beware of Fake Facsimile and Email

04.24.2009

We have learned that someone is sending fake facsimiles and emails in the name of Rohm Co., Ltd. (“Rohm”) and our president without our permission or authorization. Please beware that these fake facsimiles and emails include the documents printed on a counterfeit letter head of Rohm with seemingly notarized, counterfeit signature of our president. Those who send these facsimiles and emails pretend to enter into an agreement with Rohm to render a debt collection service to Rohm. They also request recipients to reply promptly.

Please note that Rohm has nothing to do with these facsimiles and emails at all and also that Rohm has no intention to enter into any contractual relation with those who send these fake facsimiles and emails. If you reply to these facsimiles or emails, you may run the risk of being stolen of your personal information, defrauded of your money, etc.

Please do not reply to these fake facsimiles and emails, and do not call the phone number or access to the website shown on these facsimiles and emails. If you suspect that someone tries to falsely collect money from you using the name of Rohm or its affiliates, please make inquiries at webmaster@rohm.co.jp
