Rohm Announces 50th Anniversary Commemorative Dividend
(Notice of Revised Dividend Forecast for Fiscal Year Ending March 31,2008)

Rohm announced today that its Board of Directors has determined to revise upward the Company's year-end dividend forecast for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008.



1. Background for Revision of Dividend Forecast
On September 17th, 2008, Rohm will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding. Rohm is fully aware that this success is due in great part to the support of its shareholders as well as other stakeholders.
As an expression of gratitude to the shareholders, Rohm is proposing a special dividend of 100 yen per share in commemoration of the Company's 50th anniversary, in addition to the ordinary year-end dividend of 65 Yen per share for the fiscal year 2008.
Both the ordinary year-end dividend and special dividend are subject to approval at the upcoming Company's annual shareholders meeting in the end of June 2008.
