Announcement Concerning Revision of Consolidated and
Non-Consolidared Business Results Forecast for The Fiscal Year 2008

In consideration of recent business performance, this is to notify that ROHM has revised its business results forecast for the fiscal year 2008 which was announced on November 7, 2007.

3.Comments
Against the background of anxiety over global recession and market adjustment in consumer electronics including digital AV equipment, sales trends of the various business units in ROHM have been slower than the assumption made last November. In addition, it is difficult for ROHM to estimate rapid recovery.
At the point of profitability, it is also rapidly slowing down affected by the sales slowdown and appreciation of the yen.
Under these circumstances, ROHM revised its business results forecast as stated above based on the assumption that net sales and income would fall below those originally expected.
The estimated exchange rate has changed from 1US$=¥115 to 1US$=¥105.
