Long-lasting, High Reliability LEDs: EXCELED^TM [exceled] Series

ROHM has recently completed development of the EXCELED^TM [exceled] Series 4-element (AlGaInP) high-intensity, high-reliability LEDs optimized for electronic devices requiring a level of quality previously reserved for the automotive and industrial industries. High brightness device and ultra-precise processing technologies ensure minimal long-term luminous degradation, even after 10 years, and brightness is stable in low current regions for increased energy savings, making them ideal for battery driven devices as well. A wide lineup is offered in six package types (five chip + one lamp) and five colors (green, yellow-green, red, yellow, and orange), featuring a brightness 16 times greater than conventional products.

   Chip LEDs with reflector: SML-012□8 (3.0 × 2.0 mm, t=1.3 mm)
   Standard chip LEDs: SML-212□8 (2.0 × 1.25mm, t=0.8 mm)
   Mini chip LEDs: SML-D12□8 (1.6 × 0.8 mm, t=0.55 mm)
   Slim mini chip LEDs: SML-E12□8 (1.6 × 0.8 mm, t=0.35 mm)
   Side emitting chip LEDs: SML-A12□8 (1.6 × 1.15 mm, t=0.55 mm)
   φ3 LED lamps: SLI-343□8 (3φ)
