The ML610300 series, a high performance CMOS 8 bit microcontroller with speech functionality utilizing OKI SEMICONDUCTOR s proven 8 bit RISC Core

The ML610300 series is a high performance CMOS 8 bit microcontroller with speech functionality, which applied 8 bit RISC “U8 Core” of OKI SEMICONDUCTOR.
High quality sound playback function and high power speaker amplifier are integrated as hardware together with standard MCU functionality within one package. This improves the sound quality and makes the control easier than conventional middleware solutions.
OKI SEMICONDUCTOR's U8 Core featuring high performance with low power consumption. This makes it ideal for use in a variety of applications, including alarms. Moreover, the power supply voltage supporting 3V/5V allows to use not only for battery driven products but also for AC driven products.
ML610Q35x is newly included to the line-up in addition to conventional ML610(Q)34x. ML610Q35x integrates the self-rewrite function which allows to write parts of the built-in Flash memory by software. Also this new device provides high performance by offering  8 MHz high-speed clock.
