Earth-Friendly Products

Semiconductor products are environmentally-friendly because they use little energy and are space-saving.
In product development, ROHM seeks further resource savings, energy conservation and improvements in product recycling (elimination of contained harmful substances). This three-fold approach reduces the environmental impact at customer locations.

Whether with electric power, gas or heavy oils, energy consumption directly produces greenhouse gas (CO2). Energy conservation is the most effective initiative to prevent global warming. In the future we must replace the electrical appliances on the market with more energy-efficient electronics (low power consumption type). ROHM's semiconductor products are used in virtually all electrical appliances. We intend to contribute to the energy conservation movement by focusing our product developments on low power consumption solutions.
