Meeting customer needs for high brightness in a lower profile

Overview

ROHM's unique package design results in a thinner form factor. High brightness RGB top view types are available in the industry's lowest* profile package (t=0.6mm).
Increasing the distance from the emission surface results in uniform light distribution and improved mixing - ideal for lighting up characters, numbers, and letters in signage. This also prevents the LEDs from being seen through panels/sign front. Color mixture selection is also offered for color adjustment.
Side view types are available as well for broader compatibility.

LED Lighting Comparison

The ultra-thin (0.6mm) construction increases the distance between the LED and object, ensuring uniform lighting with optimized color mixing.

Side-View Types NEW

Side-view products are ideal for even light guide applications and provide excellent color matching when combined with top view types. In addition, original miniaturization technology is utilized to minimize the distance between elements, resulting in optimized color mixing and vivid expression when emitting multiple colors.
